GIRL’S I.D.

When a girl asks this question, she may feel pressure, frustration, and confusion.
However, this question can also fill her with inspiration, creativity, and wonder!
Girls I.D. provides space for Middle School and High School girls to answer the question, “WHO AM I?” In Girls I.D., young women answer the identity question
- as they create relationships with one another
- as they create artwork
- as they work together and work it out on the trail or by group building
- as they serve others
- as they explore the positive and negative messages coming their way every day
- from both their inside and from the outside.
Girls I.D. has special events throughout the year, but the MAIN EVENT is Girls I.D. Camp in the summer.
Girls I.D. holds a one week camp for Middle School and a one week camp for High School. Each camp is customized to the age group.
At camp, we will do things like:
- make art journals
- do service projects
- create “vision boards”
- hike and creek stomp
- do group building and group initiatives
- develop purpose statements
- laugh really hard
- take a personality inventory
- take a personal gifts inventory
- make new friends
- meet strong women who are leaders in our community
- go on some awesome field trips (possibilities include: high ropes course, Navitat,
- rafting, swimming, pottery, etc)
- get to know some female doctors, counselors, and artists
- have an AWESOME time!!
