ABOUT AYM
AYM is a place where mission, creativity, and transformation are happening with young people.
We understand mission as God’s calling in the lives of all people to seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly in faith. We understand creativity as a tool of understanding and growth because it gets us outside of ourselves and in connection with the Spirit. We understand transformation as God’s business. Hopefully by placing ourselves in humble service and exploring creatively, we will be opened up to see that God is transforming the world and even each of us all the time.
AYM became a 501(c)3 not-for-profit in 2010. AYM has been a dream and vision of Aimee and Bill Buchanan for many years. It finally sat in “Research and Development” long enough and in the Spring of 2009, God said “go for it!” So, they did. In just a year, AYM has doubled in size and is growing exponentially. Aimee and Bill are amazed by the possibilities and inspired by all the people in whom they get to see God each day.
